EST FEST VOLUNTEERS
One of the most important parts of E.S.T. Fest are the volunteers who help keep the festival going!
WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?
They work all over the festival on various teams to support the festival staff, fans, sponsors, and artists to ensure that everyone at E.S.T. Fest has an unforgettable, fun, and safe time. As a fEST Volunteer, you could be doing anything from helping set up the festival site, welcoming everyone as they arrive, helping keep the areas clean and flowing smoothly and even guiding and helping setup camping areas.
WHAT DO I GET IF I VOLUNTEER?
All volunteers receive a discounted ticket ($70) to access and enjoy E.S.T. Fest whenever they’re not working, a t-shirt to show everyone that you are a part of the fEST Volunteer Team, free shower each day, a daily meal ticket*, and all sorts of other perks. Most importantly, fEST Volunteers get the sense of being a huge part of something special, the experience of working at one of the best music festivals around, and playing a huge part in everyone’s great time! Not to mention memories that will last a lifetime.
DURING THE SHOW
Minimum work requirement of 9 hours each day spread in to three, 3-hour shifts. Volunteers must arrive prior to scheduled move-in. Why so early? Because we want to make sure you get checked in and set up and working before we open the doors to the general public. We also need your help getting the festival setup!
HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?
Be sure to read through all of the information available including the FAQ and Volunteer Requirements.
Fill out the fEST Volunteer application.
Get assigned to your Volunteer Crew via email! Check your email regularly for updates and important information that your Volunteer Leaders will share with you!!
Connect with your Volunteer Leader! You will receive a map of the festival site and a chance to ask your Volunteer Leader any questions you may have! This is important so that once doors open, you are ready to go!
Get your Volunteer shift schedule! Schedules will be released one week prior to when you are to be on site (July 31st)
This will allow you to know when you’re supposed to be working and give you an idea of what your free time at E.S.T. Fest will look like. What bands will you get to see? Which ones will you have to miss? All of that will be answered ahead of time so that if you have any issues, you can try and work it out!
Check in at E.S.T. Fest!
All Volunteers must be able to arrive and check-in a day early.
Information about times and where to check in will be sent via email to confirmed fEST Volunteers.
Once you’ve checked in you will be directed by your Volunteer Leader where to setup camp and what to do next!
Work your shifts!
Be sure to check in 15 minutes early to each of your shifts.
Check-in locations will be shared upon check-in.
All fEST Volunteers are expected to be on time, SOBER, and wearing your Volunteer t-shirt!
Always wear your Volunteer t-shirt when you’re working and be sure to wear something else when you’re not. We don’t want to confuse someone who’s supposed to be working with someone who isn’t.
Comfortable shoes are highly recommended (tennis shoes, closed toe)
Be sure to bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a snack. Leave everything else in the car or at your campsite as we won’t have anywhere to store your stuff and some jobs may not allow you to have a backpack of any kind while you’re working. Be sure to stay within your assigned location unless directed otherwise by your Volunteer Leader. Checkout with your Volunteer Leader at the end of each shift and enjoy the festival.
